Digital Seminars
Weekend Seminars: Introduction to Digital Model Railways
In small groups, the individual steps for the construction of a digital model railway
will be developed. Introduction seminars as well as advanced seminars are on offer. The seminars stretch over two days
(Saturdays and Sundays) and are always held between 10:00 and 18:00. The participation fee for the seminars is EUR 163.00 for a
weekend, food and drink included.

Introduction Seminar: Planning, Thinking and Controlling |
- Prerequisites:
- None
- Identify the advantages of a PC controlled model railway
- Which program for which processor size
- Which program for which processor size
- How does a digital model railway have to be constructed
- The building of track images on the PC
- Inform the PC of the process size (feedback, notification that track is occupied)
- Interactive building of a small system with switches, signals, contact tracks, de-coupler and sidings
- Operation of the program with a keyboard and a mouse
- Every participant receives a CD-ROM with control software
- Aim of the Seminar:
- To apply theoretical foundations to independent planning and building of a digital model railway.

- Basic knowledge of digital technology or attendance at introduction seminar
- The programming of process chains for the automatic operation of a digitized model railway
- Demonstration with practical examples (block control system, shunting games)
- If there is time, the discussion of individual problems
- Aim of the Seminar:
- To apply knowledge to independent solutions of problems, with digital model railway systems.

As our new teach and learn system is portable, both of our seminars are also possible on-site. The only conditions
being, the availability of suitable premises and a corresponding number of participants.
